It is said that “Films are the reflection of the society” but it is also true that many things that happen in the society are inspired by films” Films are the most effective and powerful medium of communication to express our views in front of the society. If used properly films can play an important part in making the necessary changes in the system along with entertaining the people.

We at Sangita Motion Pictures strongly believes in the above statement and it reflects in the films that we make.

We have a very strong and passionate team whose visions are aligned with our belief and have good experience in film making. We have proud in introducing our core team to you:

• Ms. Sangita Mohanty (Founder) - Ms. Mohanty is a Software Engineer by profession and very passionate about film making. She believes that, film making is not only about entertaining but also a great platform to contribute to the society.
• Mr. Nihar Nayak (Director) - He has 2 years of degree in film making from United State of America (Houde School of Acting). He has good experience in both Indian & western filmmaking. He is well versed with story boarding editing, lighting and handling camera. He comes with 5 years industry experience. Before he came back to India, he had assisted few directors in USA and has done lot of work there as Assistant Director and Actor. Being a Meisner trained actor, he certainly has the taste of realistic acting. With his deep understanding on technicalities and performances make him stand unique. He has successfully completed two short film for us and the first short film “BLUE & WHITE” was officially selected for screening at 9th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2019.
• Mr. Vimal Mishra (Director of Photography) - Mr. Mishra is an ace DOP who comes with 29 years of experience in the industry. He has handled all sort of cameras and has very good sense of lighting. Am extremely creative person, Mr. Mishra, has done more than 100 projects till now ranging from Hindi Feature Film to TV Shows, Advertisements, Documentaries, Short Films and Corporate Films.
• Mr. Vinod Nair (Production Manager) - Mr. Nair has completed MBA in Finance, he has 23 years of corporate experience in the field of finance and accounting. He has worked with many reputed organization and has vast experience in managing the affairs of a corporate orgainzation. Since childhood he was very much attracted to films and always wanted to be a part of the film industry and contribute in all possible way to this industry. He was becoming more restless with each passing year to fulfil his passion and finally took the decision to quit his job and took up a career in acting. He has acted in Short Films, TV shows, English Documentary, Hindi Feature Films, Digital Advertisements and is actively involved in theatre and has done many Hindi plays. He is also a professional Voice Over artist.
• Mr. Ashutosh Singh Rajput (Story, Dialogue, Screenplay Writer and Story Board Artist) - Mr. Rajput has completed his graduation in Civil Engineering. During his college days, he found his passion in writing and sketching. He started working as a comic writer and he has written good amount of comic’s. He has written and published two Hindi novels till date.
• Ms. Vandana Sengupta (Voice Coach and Script Supervising) - Ms. Sengupta is a gold medallist from India Institute of Fashion Technology. Her passion for acting and voicing made her quit her job and start her own voice training academy. She is the Founder and Director of VIVA Voice Academy. She has built a voice community through her voice expertise with a vision of providing a platform to each and every one to explore the realms of voice and help people use their voice effectively and has trained more than 100 students till date. She provides her valuable guidance in language assistance, script writing, training actors in their diction and language, supervises the dubbing and has also showcased her acting talent in our short films.

Apart from the above core team members we have many assistant directors who are equally talented.

• BLUE & WHITE (Hindi Short Film): A story of how a happily married life of an ordinary couple changes into a worst nightmare. This film is been sent to various Indian and International film festivals and was officially selected for screening at the 9th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival 2019.
• SAMARPIT (Hindi Short Film): Everyday hundreds of youngsters come to Mumbai with a dream to make it big in the film industry. They struggle daily with the only hope to get one good break. But there are few cunning people who takes advantage of these struggling actors and shatters their dream. This film is been sent to various Indian and International film festivals.
• MERI VEENA (Hindi Short Film): A story of how a boy and a girl fall in love and gets married and then again fall in love when they realise the true meaning of love. This film is under production and will be completed very soon.

We are also working on a script for Webseries and very soon we will start the preproduction.

We have dealt with social issues in all our productions and has presented it in an entertaining manner. We are committed in doing so in all our future projects and will make more such films which can contribute towards making some difference in the society.
